TIERNAN WINS CLASS TRIP TO PANTO
TIERNAN WINS CLASS TRIP TO PANTO
The Millennium Forum in partnership with the Richmond Centre has continued with its longstanding tradition of hosting an annual Christmas schools competition, offering the winner a trip for their entire class to see their pantomime.
This year, Tiernan and his class from St Mary’s Primary School in Altinanure were the lucky recipients of this amazing prize and earlier today, they enjoyed a special ‘meet and greet’ with some of the cast of this year’s panto, Beauty & The Beast.
Local students of all ages were asked to create an art piece on ‘what enchanted object they would like as a friend’. Hundreds of entries were received, all of which are currently on display in the Richmond Centre, show sponsor of the Forum’s panto. Entries were then shortlisted and the finalists posted up on the Richmond Centre’s Facebook page for public voting. Tiernan’s ‘enchanted football boot’ which he says ‘helps him play with confidence’, took the first prize having received over 1.5k likes.
Beauty & The Beast, sponsored by the Richmond Centre, is currently running at the Millennium Forum until 31st December. Tickets are now available from the box office or online at millenniumforum.co.uk
