Artscoach
The Millennium Forum’s recent project, Artscoach, culminated in a showcase event that took invited guests on an exclusive journey to celebrate the work of all its participants.
The project aimed to improve mental health through engagement with the Arts and it was funded by Arts & Business NI in partnership with Aircoach. The multi-generational and cross-community initiative saw participants of all ages take part in various classes and workshops around the town with an aim of promoting good mental health and wellbeing. It included fun and energetic dance/hip-hop classes for young people at Bishop Street Community Centre, incredible street art/painting and rejuvenation of an outdoor space at the Cathedral Youth Club and hilarious drama/singing for older participants at the Gasyard Centre. Guests were brought to each venue by coach to experience the final pieces and the hard work displayed by all participants.
