Theatre in the Dark

A man sits in a theatre audience wearing over-ear headphones and holding an audio receiver, facing a brightly lit stage where a performance is taking place. Rows of red seats and a full audience surround him, with the stage slightly out of focus in the background.

Large bold text on the left reads “Theatre in the Dark” with a subtitle underneath: “A pre-show panel on audio-described theatre.” Logos for RNIB Northern Ireland, Access to Arts, Specsavers, and Millennium Forum’s 25th anniversary appear at the bottom left. A yellow circle on the right highlights “Free Admission.”

Audio described shows ensure blind and partially sighted people can enjoy the theatre too.

Join us for a special pre-show panel event ahead of the audio described performance of Miss Saigon, to learn why audio description is vital to make sure theatre is inclusive and accessible for everyone.

Come along to this unique event, listen to the panel and enjoy some refreshments, as you learn why audio description matters and how to deliver it together.

Let’s make accessibility part of the entertainment programme!

Tickets are free however booking is essential.
