Invitation to Tender

The Millennium Forum invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors to tender for the design development, supply, installation, commissioning and training associated with a complete professional audio reinforcement system for its main auditorium.

Background

The Millennium Forum is a major cultural and performance venue located in the heart of Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It is one of the largest purpose-built theatres in the country and has been operating as a premier arts venue since 2001.  

The venue’s main auditorium has a three-tiered seating layout with a total capacity of approximately 1,020. The venue presents a diverse programme of touring theatre, live music, comedy, dance, corporate, and community events, requiring a flexible and high-quality audio reinforcement solution. 

Project Overview

The Millennium Forum is undertaking a significant upgrade of its main auditorium sound system to deliver:

• High quality, consistent audio coverage throughout the auditorium space
• Improved intelligibility for theatre and spoken word
• High-impact reinforcement for musical theatre and concerts
• Flexibility to accommodate touring productions
• Scalable and future-proof digital integration.
