SPRING INTO THE NEW SEASON AT THE MILLENNIUM FORUM!

Clocks have now gone forward and the days are getting longer which means Spring is here and Summer is just around the corner.  But before you book that summer holiday, check out the latest Millennium Forum programme and treat yourself to a show at the North West’s premier theatre. The Forum has just announced details of its brand new May-August brochure that features the best in live entertainment for this Spring/Summer season.

The Forum’s new season opens with the globally renowned West End musical, Miss Saigon.  This spectacular show arrives in town for the very first time in May. It’s the biggest show of its kind to grace the Forum stage in its 25 year history and there is much anticipation for its arrival. All fans of West End/Broadway musical theatre will not want to miss this phenomenal production.

This summer sees the return of the Forum’s youth musical after a two-year absence. This year, its Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s, EVITA, which will see the cream of young local talent shine on the stage for four nights in July/August.

As always, there’s lots of comedy on offer this season with favourites, Serena Terry, Stewart Lee and Jimeoin all returning to the city.

Once again, the Forum has plenty of fantastic live music from The Fureys, Michael English and X Factor finalists, G4.   Irish singer, Mary Black, also returns, this time, bringing her Farewell Tour. Her sister, Frances Black, will also arrive later this season alongside Mary Coughlan and Sharon Shannon for a special night of world-class music, rich storytelling and unforgettable moments.

There’s always something on offer for younger audiences and this season is no exception as back Peppa Pig makes a welcome return. The phenomenon that is K Pop will also return this season as the K Pop All Stars show brings its sold-out show to delight local audiences once again.
