10 YEARS AT THE FORUM
We celebrated our 10th Birthday this September! It’s hard to believe that we have been operational for ten years. It has been an exciting and challenging journey for us that has seen some memorable acts through our doors over this period of time such as acclaimed comedian, Billy Connolly; global extravaganzas, The Sound Of Music, Riverdance and Lord Of The Dance; a host of West End musicals including Grease, Fame, Annie, Evita and many, many more. We have welcomed numerous world renowned musical stars including Bryan Adams, Kris Kristofferson and Van Morrison and remained true to our promise to ‘provide something for everyone’ from drama to ballet, live entertainment to children’s shows. The Millennium Forum has succeeded in the past ten years to bring many more highlights and has contributed significantly to the cultural history and revival of the city. With the onset of the City of Culture in 2013, we can look forward to a wider participation and involvement by the community in arts and culture and celebrate a rich and vibrant future that will benefit the city’s inhabitants and visitors alike.
